Hiromiki Torii is a Japanese diabolo artist who combines technical tricks and body movements. He started diabolo at 7 and improved his skills in the international circus school in Japan.

7歳から独学でディアボロを始め、ディアボロの本場、台湾で行われたアジアカップで優勝。

20歳頃まで競技を専門にしていたが、沢入国際サーカス学校入学を機に身体表現の訓練を始める。ディアボロの技術と独特のコンテンポラリーダンスを共存させ、即興的な表現を研究。

2024年7月、世界最大の芸術祭エジンバラフェスティバルフリンジに、サーカスカンパニー YOAH(ヨア)のパフォーマーとして出演。その後ドイツの劇場GOP Varieté-Theater にてショーの一員として190回以上公演を行う。2025年10月から約1か月間、YOAHのデンマーク・オランダツアーに参加。

He started diabolo at the age of 7, teaching himself, and won first place at the Asia Cup held in Taiwan, known as the home of diabolo.

Until around the age of 20, he focused on competitions. After entering Sawairi International Circus School, he began training in physical expression. He makes his diabolo technique and his unique contemporary dance coexist, and explores improvisational performance.

In July 2024, he performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world’s largest arts festival, as a performer with the circus company YOAH. After that, he performed more than 190 shows as a cast member at GOP Varieté-Theater in Germany. From October 2025, he will join YOAH’s tour in Denmark and the Netherlands for about one month.
